People in Need (PIN) is seeking applications from qualified and deserving candidates for the vacancy of Agriculture Education Programme Manager. Locations of this job will be based in Kabul (75%), Mazar-e Sharif (25%) and with frequent travel to the schools in different provinces of Afghanistan.Kindly note that Duration of Contract is 18 months.
Education and Experience
- Third level qualification (Diploma / Degree)
- MA/Diploma in Agriculture, Education or related subject and a proven interest in the sector.
- A minimum of two years of overseas experience in relevant sectors (Agriculture and/or Education).
- Experience with designing and conducting trainings an advantage.
- Experience with programme, HR and financial management required.
- Experience with working in insecure environments a significant advantage
Attitude or Personality Requirements
- Empathy with the organisations values and its approach
- Ability to quickly grow into new challenges, working within a close and supportive team
- Ability to work under pressure often to strict deadlines
- Methodical and thorough knowledge of computer applications i.e. Microsoft word and excel
