DASHRA :-(Dalit Association for Social and Human Rights Awareness)is a registered Human Rights Organization actively engaged in the protection and promotion of human rights within the State of Bihar, India since 2002, working particularly among the Dalits.It is registered under Society Registration Act 1860, Foreign Contribution Regulation Act ( FCRA), registered under 12A,80G of Income Tax for exemptions.
Focus on: Dalits Rights( scheduled Caste),Indigenous Peoples, deprived Sections,weaker section, Marginalised groups,women, child rights,Education and health,helping in emergencies.
Vision:
Promote a human rights culture in society by working towards the empowerment of the depressed class who is victimized on the base of caste discrimination.
Mission :
Empowerment of the marginalized, especially Dalits and the vulnerable, Marginalized sections of the society to enable them realize their rights through collective action in Bihar and northern part of India, starting from the grass root level
