United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) requires applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Consultant, Programme Coordination(Office-Based). Duration of initial contract is one year and the job location is New York, USA. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of another UN language desirable.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Masters degree in social science with strong knowledge of gender issues, or related discipline.
- Or a Bachelor degree with more than 10 years of experience.
- Minimum 5 year of relevant experience in the field of promoting gender equality and poverty reduction;
- Experience in conducting research and analysis on gender equality to inform programming and policy formulation desirable.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of another UN language desirable.
