WWF-UK announces the vacancy of Head of Corporate Stewardship – (Food & Water) and seeks applications from qualified and experienced applicants. The location of this job/vacancy will be based in Woking (initially Godalming) UK.
The Purpose
- Leads WWF-UK’s programme to change corporate practice on this area keeping a results focus, while maintaining an understanding of the full breadth of issues around this theme
- Leads the thematic team, developing both its capabilities and its strategy.
- Represents WWF-UK at meetings and external events on in this theme (engaging with corporate,government and public stakeholders)
- Responsible for liaising with WWF Network colleagues on issues relating to this theme
- Responsible for quality and strategic value of external communications in this area
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of managing , leading and developing a team
- Experience of translating a functional strategy in line with the organisational strategy
- Experience of developing, influencing and maintaining key stakeholders to achieve a win-win situation
- Demonstrated ability of budget and resource management
- Ability to resolve complex problems and achieve a results focused solution
Minimum Criteria
- Lead and manage teams and team budgets
- Influenced corporate / government policy and regulations
- Designs strategic programmes / campaigns to bring about corporate change
- Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Degree or relevant professional qualification and/or experience in this area
