African Conflicts Response Foundation (ACRF) is a pan-African grassroots oriented organization that brings African-designed and African-driven solutions to the problems of peace in the continent. The creation of ACRF was inspired by the dream that one day Africans will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks, that tribes will no longer rise against tribes and nations against nations.
ACRF is a US-based public charity under Section 501(c) (3) of the IRS. It works to build bridges, understanding and support from the international community to sow seeds of peace in Africa through programs that build human capacity and foster dialogue in marginalized and post-conflict communities. We believe that by developing and empowering marginalized and post-conflict communities and facilitating communication to break down barriers, we will sow seeds for durable peace in the continent. In this regard, we focus on advocacy, vocational training, education, primary health assistance and poverty reduction programs to accomplish our mission.
