Applications are invited by The Nigerian Branch of the South African Cochrane Centre for short Cochrane review completion course from 18-22 March 2013. The objective of this course is to assist Cochrane review authors who are keen on completing their reviews but lack the requisite time and expertise to do so, as well as providing necessary resources for mentorship and engagement in evidence based health policy initiatives.
The aim of the completion course is to help authors who are finding it difficult to complete their review to a level that it can go for peer review. Also to provide necessary resources for them to mentor others as well as the skills for engagement in evidence based health policy initiatives.
Funding is available to cover transport, accommodation, course materials, and post-course support for a limited number of participants.
Eligibility & Criteria-
Authors must be based in Nigeria and must have published a protocol in the Cochrane Library. In addition, they must have received their search outputs from their respective trial search coordinators and must also be willing to agree to the Statement of intent as indicated in the application form.

Please submit the hard copies of the completed application form and supporting documentation (CV, proof that applicant have registered a title for a Cochrane review, the rationale for applicant’s Cochrane review, and the supporting letter from applicant’s employer or department head) to the address given in website.
