OSCE academy is accepting applications for Central Asian school of Contemporary Journalism, certificate training program scheduled for 10-week. The objective is to improve the quality of regional media coverage for the forthcoming parliamentary and strengthening professional media in Central Asia. Over the years training began to include journalists representing different media branches: Printing, TV and Radio broadcasting and online media.
This program aims to give professional journalists the tools and knowledge to produce in-depth reports for media that make news relevant to their Central Asian audience.
Participants will receive a stipend of EUR€200 (about US$270). Nonresidents of Bishkek will receive an extra EUR€150 (about US$200) for accommodations.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants must be journalists from Central Asia under 30 years old with experience in the media.
- Submit a resume, a cover letter and three work samples.
