The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) and the Kenyan National AIDS & STI Control Programme (NASCOP) invites applications for HIV oral self-tests in the Republic of Kenya. The objective of Kenyan government is to successfully implemented home-based HIV testing, and they are interested in research that will provide insights for the design of a HIV self-testing program.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The call is open to organizations implementing HIV/AIDS programs in Kenya. The applicant organization must be able to sign the 3ie grant agreement, which is available from 3ie upon request.
- For-profit organizations are eligible to apply, but are restricted to the same indirect cost limits as non-profit organizations and may not charge a fee.
Documents required-
- a technical proposal not to exceed twenty (20) pages (including any attachments, tables, figures, etc. but excluding the cover page and CVs) submitted as a single Microsoft Word file with font size no smaller than 11 point
- the curriculum vitae of all proposed principal investigators, not to exceed five pages per person and compiled in a single Microsoft Word file with font size no smaller than 11 point
- a cost proposal submitted as a Microsoft Excel file in the 3ie budget template
- budget narrative submitted as a Microsoft Word file
