Applications are invited for Social leader forum fellows programme organized by Joint Civic Foundation. The purpose of this forum is to focuses on professional exchange of best practice and promoting interdisciplinary dialogue among civil society actors from the Caucasus region.
Capacity Building in Georgia and Turkey– The goal of these meetings in April and November is to exchange best practice examples and professionalize the work of local civil society actors through providing the fellows with inputs from international experts. These experts come from organizations like the BMW Foundation or the Centre for Social Investment at the University of Heidelberg. In the meetings we focus on the following questions-
- How to apply entrepreneurial instruments to increase success?
- How to cooperate with the business sector and the public administration?
- How to secure long-term funding?
- How to attract and activate people?
- How to be more effective?
- How to work in a conflict environment?
Expenses for travel, accommodation and lodging for the duration of the program’s activities will be covered by Joint Civic Education.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Foundation is interested in civil society activists living in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia (North Caucasus) and Turkey.
- Applicant’s are interested in sharing their knowledge and enhancing their skills through collaboration with like-minded colleagues, and applicant’s are willing to invest in long-term cross-border cooperation.
- The Social Leader Forum is not limited to certain field of civil society activism. Foundation therefore call for e.g. NGO workers, human rights lawyers, environmental activists, journalists, and all who are professionally engaged in social change and civil society matters.
