Women Filmmakers of Zimbabwe is inviting applications for International Images Film Festival (IIFF). For this festival documentaries, feature films & shorts featuring female protagonists or men portraying championing gender sensitivity will be accepted.
IIFF is the continent’s fastest growing gender sensitive film festival with 12 prizes in 12 categories.
How to submit?
- Screen the film during the film festival
- Screen the film during festival outreach in schools, colleges, universities and communities
- Use max. 2 minute clips from the film for promotional use on television, radio, in print, and at live Festival events.
- In addition, IIFF would like to inform applicant that given the high quality of films submitted at the festival, this has generated interest from our National Broadcaster who have requested that they screen such films. Should they wish to support the National Broadcaster, IIFF will be able to facilitate 2 screenings of their film on National Television ZBC. This however, would be without remuneration as the broadcaster has indicated to us their financial position.
