Graduate School of Agriculture & Life Science/ Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Tokyo are accepting applications for Shoda Memorial international scholarship program. Knowledge of Japanese language is compulsory. Scholarship offers 70,000 Yen per month.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Self-supporting international students from Asian countries who are enrolled or will be enrolled in the first year of the master’s course or in the second year of the doctoral course as of April 2013, and whose major is science related
- Living in Tokyo
- With good conduct, high scholastic abilities, in good health
- Not receiving other scholarships
- Able to fill out application forms in Japanese
Documents required-
- Academic record certificate (of the present and previous course enrolled)
- Application Form for Scholarships from Private Foundations
- Recommendation letter from the supervising professor
