What we do: SNEHA works with Tribal, Dalit and other underprivileged communities and provides value-based education to their children through:
1. Formal Schools
2. Non-formal schools
3. Scholarship to poor but meritorious students.
SNEHA believes in value-based education, in education that is about much more than just grades. Our aim are not only to develop knowledge and skills but also to develop human values like truthfulness, righteous conduct, love, peace, non-violence, tolerance etc to make them good human beings.
At each school, SNEHA ensures that children understand that they are to become global citizens with civic sense, in accordance with SNEHA’s slogan “education for universal compassion”. Also, in the communities where SNEHA is active, schools not only transform the lives of children, but they also offer the wider community an opportunity to improve family life. SNEHA schools therefore become centers for community spirit.
