Civil society and private sector organizations form Indonesia are invited for Sustainable Landscapes Partnership (SLP) organized by Conservation International as Facility Administrator. The focus of this program is to identify, develop, and test new solutions aimed at avoiding deforestation and degradation and other associated GHG emissions.
A diversity of investments and innovative approaches are required to effectively reduce pressure on remaining forests while providing for economic opportunities, livelihoods and income generation for local people in a sustainable manner.
SLP is focused on supporting a wide variety of Applications that have the potential to be transformational in nature, promote connections and partnerships among diverse stakeholders, create inclusive value chains, build capacity and expertise of local constituencies to be ‘investment ready’ and critically, that are able to field‐prove innovative low emissions business models that are financially and institutionally sustainable in the long‐term.
The maximum grant award is up to USD $500,000.

Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicant must be a legally registered entity authorized to work in Indonesia, or has links with partner organizations on the ground who do.
- Applications for funding are welcomed from private and not‐for‐profit entities that demonstrate the following-
- A successful Applicant will be an entity (or a consortium or joint venture of entities) with substantial capabilities and tried and tested experience in developing and implementing project activities.
- A successful Applicant will demonstrate that it possesses sound and tested financial and administrative systems
- The project supports a strategic direction and investment strategy identified in Section II of this Call for Applications
- The existence of co‐financing or the ability to leverage additional funds (not compulsory but highly encouraged)
- The existence of partnerships or alliances with one or more other entities. CI will also work closely with successful Applicants to identify additional partners or to encourage collaboration between multiple Applicants
- Endorsement from other recognized national or international agencies or authorities attesting that the Applicant as the necessary experience and expertise to carry out the project
- A clear business plan that considers technology, product distribution and end‐user financing (where relevant), and has the ability to make broad social and environmental impacts on a sustainable scale
- Clear plans or a strategy for continuation and/or replication of the proposed project activity as a Sustainable Low Emissions Business Model after initial funding by the Facility
