European Union Delegation in Cameroon is pleased to invite applications for Accompanying measures to bananas (MAB) for restructuring of the national economy within the framework of the “new agricultural policy.” The goal of this project is to improve the sustainable competitiveness (quantitative and qualitative) of the banana sector in Cameroon pressing activities that promote profitability in the global market, in strict compliance with environmental and social standards while improving the balance of trade.
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is € 3,000,000 (three million euros). The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 36 months nor exceed 60 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be established in Cameroon
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the (s) Co-Applicant (s) and entity/ entities affiliate (s) and not act as an intermediary
- Be a company dessert banana plantation in Cameroon export to the European market (minimum 2000 tonnes exported in 2012).
