Call for papers are announced for Gujarat Studies Association (GSA) 5th Biennial Conference on Re(defining) Gujarati Identity in India. For this conference English language will be basic requirement. Conference will be held at Ahmedabad, India on 19th – 20th February 2014. The goal of this conference is to (re)define the identities and/or representations of Gujaratis, both within and outside India.
Objectives-
- To advance the education of the public regarding the Gujarati language and culture
- To promote racial harmony and promote good race relations between persons from different racial groups

Eligibility & Criteria
Submissions are encouraged from graduate and post-graduate students. A limited number of student bursaries are available for master’s level, doctoral and post-doctoral candidates presenting papers at the conference.
