Opportunity for applicants to apply for Annual Program Statement (APS) on Operationalizing a Neighborhood Approach to Reduce Urban Disaster Risk in Latin America and the Caribbean. The program is funded by Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended (FAA), the United States Government (USG), as represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA), Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA).
The project aims to disseminate information to enable prospective applicants to decide whether to seek OFDA funding in support of the subject DRR program and, if so, to assist them in developing and submitting concept papers and applications.

The program duration for all projects (excluding Haiti) is for up to 24 months and for Haiti 18 months. OFDA anticipates that up to approximately US$7.5 million will be available to support the programs.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- All applicants must be legally recognized organizational entities under applicable law
- Qualified U.S. and non-U.S. private non-profit organizations may apply for OFDA funding under this APS
- Qualified U.S. and non-U.S. private for-profit organizations may apply for OFDA funding under this APS
- Qualified U.S. and non-U.S. colleges and universities may apply for OFDA funding under this APS
