Proposals are invited for Kazakhstan Local Development-NSA grants component which aims to increase the voice and participation of civil society in local development and Local Governance in Kazakhstan.
Objectives–
- to support the design and implementation of a coherent legislative and institutional framework conducive to local development
- to promote improved local development policies in three pilot oblasts
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is 1,050,000 EUR. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 30 months nor exceed 42 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal person
- be non-profit-making
- be established in a Member State of the European Union
- be Non-State Actors (NSA) constituted and registered in accordance with the legislation in force in the country concerned or international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- be able to demonstrate to have regularly carried out during at least three years at the time of submission of an application, activities in the field of development of the kind covered by this programme.
