The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (MFA) is pleased to invite applications for development research activities as part of Denmark’s international development cooperation. The goal of this program is to support development research is to generate new knowledge capable of alleviating development problems and strengthening research capacity in the Danida priority countries.
North driven development research Thematic areas-
- Governance in fragile and unstable environments
- Green economy, inclusive growth and employment
- Rights to natural resources
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applications can only be submitted by an institution, e.g. a governmental institution, private-sector enterprise or private organization in Denmark for the north driven research projects, and in Ghana, Tanzania or Nepal for the south driven research projects. The main applicant must be attached to the applicant institution, which will be responsible for the approved project.
- The main applicant researcher must at the time of submitting the application hold a PhD or equivalent qualifications, documented clearly in the CV
- The application must list the proposed research partner institutions
