Proposals are accepted for Working Towards Eliminating Poverty and Reducing Inequality: Addressing the Implementation Challenge under Europe Aid. The goal of this program is to analyze, review and evaluate government’s policies and interventions which aim to address poverty and inequality.

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is ZAR 11 405 500. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than six (6) months, nor exceed eighteen (18) months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be legal persons
- Be non-profit-making
- Be specific types of organisations such as : non-governmental organisations preferably with research as core business, statutory academic research institution, research institution linked to Universities, public sector operators, international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- Be established in a Member State of the European Union
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- Be able to demonstrate to have regularly carried out activities in the field covered by this Call
- Be active in South Africa
