Proposals are accepted for Service network for the provision of integrated social education and health services for children with mental problems under Norway Grants. The purpose of this program is to focus on decreasing health inequalities and improving mental health services, its quality and accessibility in the regional level are supported. To assure better regional coverage and accessibility of the mental health services for children.
Total amount of the grant allocated:1 275 000 eur
Supported activities-
- Development and implementation of inpatient and/or outpatient mental health services for children and youth with mental health problems
- Development of child maltreatment diagnostic system and implementation of the interventions
- Implementation of a training system of specialists (for the personnel working in the mental health centres)
- Development of cooperation networks inside the health care sector between different regional mental health centres and also between different sectors (social, educational and other relevant sectors). Analyzing the need of children mental health services in different regions, raising awareness of the mental health problems in the wider public and risk groups
- Exchange of experience and obtaining new knowledge.
Eligibility & Criteria-
Licensed health care facilities of stationary pediatrics and psychiatric services are considered eligible applicants of projects.
