Interested applicants from the field of journalism and the media are invited to apply for The Guardian student media competition. The goal of this program is to discover and promote these talented individuals as well as reward and celebrate their excellent work.
The awards are aimed at all NUS card holding students at University. As well as student newspapers, student magazines, student websites, student radio and student TV stations. The awards target students planning a career in journalism and the media.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The Guardian Student Media Awards (the “Awards”) are open only to students (with a valid NUS card or student card and admitted on a course at an institution for higher education) or students who are on university sabbaticals.
- The Awards are open to permanent residents of the UK only. The Awards are not open to employees or agencies of Guardian News & Media Limited (“GNM”), its group companies or their family members, or anyone else connected with the creation or administration of the Awards.
- All work entered must have been published/broadcast in during the academic year September 2012 to June 2013.
