Proposals are accepted for Supporting a thriving civil society in the field through Country-Based Support Schemes under Europe Aid. The purpose of this proposal is to strengthen the role of Belarusian civil society in promoting human rights and democratic reform, in supporting the peaceful conciliation of group interests and in consolidating political participation and representation.
Objectives-
- Enhancing political representation and participation
- Support activities aimed at promoting the issues covered by EU guidelines on Human Rights with the local thematic priorities being-
- Support to abolishment of death penalty
- Support to humanisation of justice system
- Promotion and protection of rights of children
- Fight against violence against women and girls
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 565,000.00. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- belong to the following category as defined per article 10 of the EIDHR Regulation
- be established in10 Belarus or in a Member State of the European Union or an accession or official candidate country as recognised by the EU or a Member State of the European Economic Area
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
