Academic Swiss Cascasus Net is accepting proposals for Regional Research Projects in the Field of Social Sciences . The goal of this program is to bringing together at least one institution from each of the two countries and covering both Armenia and Georgia as research object.

The budget made available per project will be 100,000 Swiss Francs (CHF) over two years, with a maximum of 50,000 CHF per year. Projects must have a duration of 24 months. Initial funding is provided for 12 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applications for ASCN Research Project funding may be submitted by research institutions (public, private but accredited, non-governmental organisations, independent research institutes) from Georgia and Armenia, and may only involve researchers from Georgia or Armenia and residing in Georgia or Armenia
- Georgians not residing in Georgia (and Armenians not residing in Armenia) may be part of a research team (one per team) and act as advisers. However, they are not entitled to any honorarium/ salary
- Applications must have a regional dimension: the submitted project must include at least 2 research institutions (one from Armenia, one from Georgia) and include both Armenia and Georgia as research object
