Applications are invited for Africa-UK Influencing and Engagement Small Grants Scheme in which amount offered of up to £2,000. The objective of this program is to enable the diaspora sector to engage decision-makers in influencing policy affecting Africa’s development.
Africa-UK is managed by AFFORD (African Foundation for Development) and delivered in partnership with the African Council Scotland/NIDOS (Network of International Development Organisations in Scotland), Sub-Sahara Advisory Panel (SSAP), Centre of African Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and the Diaspora Volunteering Alliance (DVA).
Eligibility & Criteria-
- African diaspora organisations, groups and networks are invited to develop and submit bids for a small grant.
- Groups will be expected to indicate the theme of their chosen influencing and engagement activity, details of the activity, and the decision-makers they intend to target.
