All eligible participants are invited to participate in International Conference on Scaling-Up Strategies to Secure Community Land and Resource Rights. This conference is supported by Rights and Resources Initiative, the International Land Coalition, Oxfam International, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature. The objective of this conference is to provide opportunities for leaders and practitioners to collect, share, and synthesize leading strategies and experiences; identify how to raise the public profile of community land rights as a global development, environmental and human rights priority issue; and to provide a forum for development of new collaborations and alliances between different actors and interests around community land tenure issues.
The conference is conducted Victoria-Jungfrau Hotel in Interlaken, Switzerland from September 19-20, 2013.
