Proposals are accepted for European Instrument for Democracy & Human Rights (EIDHR) in Cameroon under EuropeAid. The purpose of this program is to support the work of civil society organisations to eliminate the violence against women.
Objectives-
- Prevention of violence against women, so that it does not take place
- Protection and support to victims of violence, to allow them to continue their lives as they see fit
- The prosecution of the perpetrators of violence, to fight against impunity
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is €600 000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 18 nor exceed 48 months
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be a non-state actor registered for at least two years at the time of the application
- be established in Cameroon or a Member State of the European Union
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
