All eligible Journalist are invited to submit Proposals for National Endowment for Democracy. Journalists may suggest ideas for investigative stories that in any way touching the corrupt elements of national or local level. The financial support for each story is 150 dollars (in Macedonian currency). Time predicted for completing the stories is two weeks.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Journalists from electronic, printed or internet media, (no matter of their current engagement) as well as freelancers to participate in the Fund and propose investigative stories are encouraged to apply
- Proposals should address to corruptive practices on national and/or local level
- Proposals should concern large number of people. Stories must affect the population/people, showing practices which reflect system failure
- Journalists must use documents so that they base their story on facts
- The proposal should be written on one page describing the problem/idea which is interesting for the journalist
