Chinese Journalists are invited to submit applications for 2-3 week study and work opportunity in Africa. This program is supported by Journalism Department of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. The goal of this program is to offer opportunity to conduct research for an article or series of stories for publication or broadcast in China-based media.

Eligibility & Criteria-
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a journalist
- Be relatively fluent in English (stories can be written in Chinese)
- Be affiliated to or have a commitment from a media outlet in China indicating that work will be published (commitment or reference letters will count in journalists’ favour)
- Maintain a blog during the tour and produce at least one article for the project website
- Have a valid passport and permission from their employer to travel for a minimum of two weeks around mid-October 2013
