EuropeAid is seeking proposals for Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina which analyses the socio-economic situation of the Croatian-Bosnian and Herzegovina border region. The purpose of this program is to encourage the creation of cross-border networks and partnerships and the development of joint cross-border actions with a view to revitalizing the economy, protecting the nature and the environment and increasing social cohesion of the programme area.
Objectives-
- To develop recognisable joint tourist offers based on common environmental and cultural heritage and improve the competitiveness of the local tourism economy.
- To foster development of the regional economy by strengthening the SME sector and business support institutions and services.
The overall indicative amount of CBC Programme HR-BiH financing made available under this Call for Proposals (CfP) for projects (actions) implemented in the eligible and adjacent areas is 3.822.090,56 € out of which 1.800.000 € is available to Croatia and 2.022.090,56 € to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 9 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be non-profit legal persons established by public or private law for the purposes of public interest or specific purpose of meeting needs of general interest, which is proven by statute or articles of association/decision on establishment, of the respective institution in accordance with relevant law, and
- be established in respecting beneficiary Country (Croatia and/or Bosnia and Herzegovina) – according to the meaning of the provisions of Article 96(3) of the IPA Regulation (EC) No 718/2007 as amended by Regulation (EU) No 80/2010 which specifies that the lead beneficiaries (applicants) shall be established in the respective participating beneficiary country: in Croatia when applying for the allocation assigned to Croatia and in Bosnia and Herzegovina when applying for the allocation assigned to BiH, and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
