Georgian journalists, Professional journalists, editors, bloggers, web publishers, and NGOs are invited to take part in EU Prize for Journalism. The Prize will acknowledge journalistic works that have contributed to promoting a better understanding of the values of the European Union and reflects high standards of journalistic ethics and professionalism. The Prize will be awarded in the spirit of respect for media pluralism, and in the context of the European Union’s desire to improve communication between EU institutions and Georgian citizens.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Only entries from media outlets registered in Georgia will be accepted
- Entries must be in Georgian, Russian or English only
- The European Union reserves the right to use part or whole entries in presentations material and to the media. Entries could also be reproduced in any form for the purpose of promoting the EU Journalism Prize and the “Let’s Meet Europe 2” project in Georgia
- Participants must be aged18 years or above and be Georgian citizens
