Office for the Promotion of Migrant Integration is inviting applications for funding under the European Fund for the Integration of third-country nationals (EIF). The goal of this program is to focus on areas such as information provision, education, training, employment, arts, community development and the promotion of intercultural and inter-faith dialogue.
A third-country national is defined under the EIF as a person who is not a citizen of a Member State of the European Union (EU). The Fund applies to legally residing third-country nationals, as per an EU Council Decision establishing the European Fund for the Integration of Third-Country Nationals.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applications are invited from community and voluntary organisations, non-governmental organisations, local development companies, social partners, local authorities and other public sector organisations.
- Applications are eligible for consideration under the EIF as long as applicants organisation clearly demonstrates that-
- project is targeting third-country nationals.
- Sufficient co-funding has been sourced.
- application must include written confirmation of the availability of co-funding in line with Pobal requirements.
