Europe Aid is seeking proposals for Non State Actors and Local Authorities in development Program. The goal of this program is to strengthen civil society in partner countries and enhance the participation of Local Authorities and Associations of Local Authorities in partner countries in public policies and programme as a precondition for a more equitable, open and democratic society.
This call is divided into two Lots with different specific objectives-
- Lot 1 – To support civil society organisations interventions in the area of education with a specific focus on poor and vulnerable children.
- Lot 2 -To support and strengthen LAs’ capacities to provide services in the area of water and sanitation as a contribution to improved human development
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 3,800,000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 48 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be specific types of organisations such as: non-governmental organisations, public sector operators local authorities, international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or in Zambia
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
