Applications are accepted for Chevening Scholarships in Pakistan which aims to attract talented professionals who are potential future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers.
Ares of Interest-
- Improving governance and/or tackling corruption
- Promotion of human rights
- Public administration
- Business, Trade and Economics (with a particular focus on energy)
- Security and conflict resolution
- Media and communications (particular interest in media students and ethics)
Benefits-
A Chevening Scholarship in Pakistan includes: a monthly stipend, travel to and from your country via an approved route, an arrival and excess baggage allowance, a thesis or dissertation grant, the cost of an entry clearance visa and tuition fees up to £12k in addition to the global MBA fee cap of £12k. If the tuition fees of their chosen course exceed this amount, please note that applicants may be required to supplement the balance of their award.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be a citizen of a Chevening – eligible country at the time of applying for the award, and intend to return there at the end of the period of study
- Hold a degree that is equivalent to at least an upper second – class honours degree in the UK.
- Demonstrate that applicants have achieved the minimum Chevening English language requirement
- Have completed at least two years’ work or equivalent experience before applying.
- Be able to obtain the correct visa, and receive an unconditional offer from a UK university.
