Deadline- 25 September 2013
Papers are being accepted for International Workshop Imagining Development: Comparing Theory and Practice of Development in the Post-Socialist World under PSDEV. The workshop will be conducted in Tallinn University, Estonia from 8-9 November 2013.
The research will explore the way development (be this local or national, political or social) in a series of post-socialist states has been conceived, implemented and applied to different political, economic and geopolitical realities across the region and the response that has generated from this implementation. This project is the first attempt to connect EU, CIS and Chinese institutions working on post-socialist transformation and will create the basis for a long term individual and institutional interregional and international collaborations.
Eligibility & Criteria-
There will be participants from all partner institutions but the organizers would use this workshop also as a networking event. Therefore, scholars from outside the network who would like to present their research and to network with the prospect of a follow-up project in the coming years are welcome.
