All eligible participants are invited to submit applications for 7th Photography Contest organized by the park Xcaret in Cancun. The objective of this program is to celebrates the integration of independent artists, and local and Mayan communities into society.
Prizes–
- 1st place: $ 12,000.00 MXN, 1 professional camera, 2 admission to Xcaret park. Value: $2,054 MXN
- 2nd place: $ 8,000.00 MXN, 1 watch, 2 admissions to Xcaret park. Value: $2,054 MXN
- 3rd place: $ 5,000.00 MXN, One digital camera, 2 admission to Xcaret park. Value: $2,054 MXN
- The selected photographs for the exhibition will become part of the collection of previous contests and will remain for warding off Xcaret and Grupo Quinta.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Open to Mexicans and foreigners living in southeastern Mexico.
- The contest will be only one category. The inscription has a recovery fee of $ 100 MXN
- Photographs must be authored and owned by the sender and free from third party rights or responsibilities: models, companies, institutions, publications, competitions or any instance that may require authorization for the use of images.
- The modality of photography can be COLOR or BLACK & WHITE in analog or digital base.
- Collages or photomontages will not be accepted. The authenticity of the image will be a criterion to qualify.
- The photographs will be presented in a printed format of 8×10 inch and on disk in JPG or TIFF format 40 x 60 cm. (23.6 x 15.7 inches) at 300 dpi. They should not contain any support or framework.
- 2 photographs shall be permitted than by author. Title and author’s pseudonym must be written at the back of each photograph. In a sealed envelope the author’s personal data should be included (name, address, telephone and email).
