All eligible applicants from Kosovo are invited to submit applications for Kosovo Undergraduate Exchange Program offered under IREX. The main objective of this program is to brings selected undergraduate students to the United States for one academic year at an American university, college, or community college, allowing them to develop a nuanced understanding of the United States and to share their countries and cultures with Americans. Following the program, Kosovo UGRAD participants return to finish university in their home countries, share what they have learned with others, and contribute to the development of their home communities.
Mission-
- Promote youth leadership and community participation and increase cross-cultural understanding between Kosovo and the United States; and
- Strengthen U.S./Kosovo relationships by preparing youth to use the skills and knowledge acquired in the U.S. to serve as community leaders and “cultural ambassadors.”
Eligibility –
Current undergraduate students from Kosovo are eligible to apply.
