Nominations are accepted for Shriram Sanlam Awards for Excellence in Financial Journalism organized by Shriram Capital Limited. The goal of this award is to promote and reward excellence in Indian/International newspaper, magazine and online journalism that fosters a better understanding of the economy, business dynamics and financial understanding.
Categories
- Articles on Business/Finance/Capital Markets/Economy by Indian Media (English Mainlines/Financials/ Magazines/Wires).
- Articles by International Media Journalists centered on Indian Business or Economy Category.
Award-
Winners in each category will receive INR100,000. The special prize “Life Time Achievement Award” of INR250,000 will be given to a journalist to honor his/her contributions in the field of financial journalism over a period of 25 to 30 years.
Eligibility-
- Nominations can be either by Editor or Chief Of Bureau. Self Nomination by individual journalist can be submitted, accompanied with two references either from senior corporate executives or journalists or editors(may be from same or different publication)
- An Editor can nominate his respective publication’s Journalists only
- There is no limit on the number of nominations by an Editor/Publication/Bureau Chief and Journalist.
- An Editor/Chief Of Bureau is required to fill a separate nomination form for every nomination submitted
- A separate form for Self Nomination to be submitted by the Journalist for every nomination
- An Editor/Bureau Chief/Journalist should justify the reason for nominating an article in the format of the nomination form
- The decision made by the Judges will be final
- An entry will be accepted only when all the supporting documents are submitted
- Entries will be accepted from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad , Kolkata and Ahmedabad only
