Ford Motor Company along with 92nd Street Y is accepting applications for ‘Ford Motor Company International Fellowship of 92nd Street Y’. Designed to enhance the efforts of emerging leaders in communities throughout the world, three-week residency program being conducted from 27 May to 18 June 2015 selects total of 20-24 leaders from among the applicants to become Ford Fellows of 92nd Street Y.
Open competition among the emerging leaders from Brazil, People’s Republic of China, Ghana, India, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Poland and the Federation Russia; the fellowship covers airfare, accommodation, food, transportation, instruction and other program-related expenses. Program begins before residency in New York when the participants complete reading, writing and group assignments through email, electronic newsletters and announcements, distance learning and teleconferencing and continues after residency when they evaluate the program’s impact and success. Participating in the intensive immersion experience that addresses the challenges of community building in today’s world, touring to New York City getting exposed to diverse ethnic, cultural and community offerings and learning from senior level executives and leaders in corporate world and fellow participants from diverse background, the participants get an opportunity to expand their horizon and consecutively contribute to their own community.
The fellows must complete assignments before the residency, actively participate in all group activities, attend the rigorous curriculum, and are expected to involve as mentors for future fellows and participate in the growing global network of community leaders never giving up.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be the citizen of 2015 participating countries – Brazil, People’s Republic of China, Ghana, India, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Poland and the Russia Federation.
- At least 21 years of age with several years of leadership experience.
- Emerging leaders who address those issues that once resolved positively impacts their communities, countries and the world.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Must have valid passport.
- Should have access to computer and internet.
- Must not be current recipients of any other fellowships.
