Proposals are invited for Country-Based Support Scheme (CBSS) for Russia, organized by The European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR). This program is being supported by EuropeAid. The mission of this program is to contribute to the development and consolidation of democracy and the rule of law, and respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms within the framework of the EU’s policy on development cooperation and economic, financial and technical cooperation with the third world countries, consistent with the European Union’s foreign policy as a whole.
Objectives-
- To contribute to improving the situation relating to human rights and fundamental freedoms.
- To enhance dialogue and civic activism in the area of human rights and democracy.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 2,950,000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor should it exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicant should be a legal person.
- The organization should be non-profit-making.
- The Organizations should be non-governmental organisations or international (inter-governmental) organisations.
- The Organization should be established in the Russian Federation or in a Member State of the European Union or in an accession or official candidate country.
- The Organization should be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
