Blacksmith Institute is inviting research proposals and grant applications for ‘Small Research Grants 2014’ from individuals and institutions everywhere. The proposals encompassing point source pollution, related health impacts, environmental control and/or remediation technology are invited for the grant program.
Doctoral and postdoctoral candidates, junior faculty/early career investigators, and applicants from countries that belong to WHO Mortality Strata B, C, D or E1 are especially encouraged to apply. Alongside, applicants who intend to submit findings for publication in a peer-reviewed journal are highly encouraged.
Eligibility Criteria –
- All types of institutions and individuals from all nationalities and disciplines are eligible to apply.
- Applicants seeking to write up existing research, or complete partially completed research are eligible to apply.
- Applicants and Principal Investigators should have a Masters, PhD, MD or other graduate-level degree in a relevant field.
The grant application should not be more than 4 pages and should include – administrative information, research proposal, and proposed budget.
