Fellow Mundus, the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 (Partnerships with Third Country higher education institutions and scholarships for mobility) partnership, is accepting applications from individuals of European Union and Latin American countries for The Fellow Project 2014. The project aims to contribute to the reinforcement of sustainable educational, cultural, economic, scientific and technological links between the European Union and Latin-American countries.
Scholarship is offered to undergraduate, master, doctorate, post-doctorate, administrative and academic staff to conduct studies in agricultural sciences; architecture, urban and regional planning; business studies and management sciences; education, teacher training; engineering, technology; geography, geology; law; mathematics, informatics; medical sciences; natural sciences; social sciences; communication and information sciences; and other areas of studies – public administration, renewable energy, climate change, human rights.
European applicants may only apply to Latin American partner institutions and Latin-American applicants may only apply to European partner institutions for the scholarship. The scholarship covers a monthly allowance, tuition fee (if applicable), insurance coverage (health, travel, accidents), and round trip travel expenses.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be nationals of one of the European Union Countries or Latin-American countries to be eligible.
- Applicants must have not benefited in the past from an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for the same type of mobility (except for staff mobility).
- Applicants must know the language of the courses and/or of one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting countries.
- Applicants must respect the specific and additional criteria applicable to each type of mobility (undergraduate, master, doctorate, post-doctorate, administrative and academic staff).
- Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least one year of their HEI studies.
- Applicants from Latin-America must not have resided nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the eligible European countries except for the students who are the nationals of one of the Latin-American countries covered by the geographical lot 14 (visit website) and are part of the vulnerable target groups.
