Fremantle Hospital Medical Research Foundation in conjugation with Curtin University is accepting preliminary applications from PhD candidates for Bellberry Medical Research Scholarship 2014. The postgraduate research scholarship is intended to the future students of Health Sciences who are the citizens of New Zealand, Australia or Australian Permanent Resident.
Scholars will be provided a stipend of $40,000 per annum tax free for the duration of three (3) years with the possible maximum extension of up to six (6) months.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian Permanent residents.
- Applicants must have obtained First Class Honors or will be obtaining First Class Honors.
- The area of research must be associated with Fremantle Hospital.
Complete preliminary application includes curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, 2 referee reports – template attached, and a supporting statement from proposed supervisor indicating how the supervisor will manage the involvement of Fremantle Hospital.
