The Civil Society Development Foundation (NROS) and the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation (Nadace Partnerství) are seeking proposals for Fund for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of European Economic Area Grants program. The program aims to strengthen civil society development and to provide support to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.
Program Priority Areas –
- Human rights and key areas of support – Protection of human rights and multiculturalism, Gender equality; Strengthening civil society, democracy mechanisms and transparency
- Children and youth at risk
- Social inclusion
- Environmental protection and climate change
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be established as a non-governmental, non-profit organization, in accordance with relevant national legislation; independent of local, regional and central government, public entities, political parties and commercial organizations; and not conditioning its support or actions to ideological, doctrinal or religious adherence.
- Applicants must have seat in the Czech Republic.
- Applicants must have double-entry bookkeeping.
- Applicants must be in existence for at least two years at the time of submitting a Grant Proposal.
- An applicant can submit proposal on only one project area.
