University of Cape Town Postgraduate Center & Funding Office is inviting applications from the students who will register at the university for the second year of Master’s study in Energy Research for Dutkiewicz Family Scholarship.
Scholarship amount is R35,000 for one year, which must be used towards tuition, academic materials, housing and research project costs.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must have achieved a weighted average of at least 60% in the final year of the previous qualification, and have passed all the courses taken in the first year of Master’s study.
- Candidates must have demonstrated a passion for the study of energy.
- Candidates can be from any nation, race or gender.
Application materials include – letter of application, curriculum vitae, a certified copy of all the academic transcripts, certified copy of SA identity document or passport/study-permit, one leter of reference (academic), and the candidate must provide a full official report of the results achieved the first year of Master’s study, as well as a work plan giving details of the proposed work for the forthcoming year and the time-frame for completion of the degree.
