Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is inviting proposals on the ‘Appraisal of Potential Health Sector Interventions of SDC in Zimbabwe’ from consultancy composed of two persons – one an international team leader with extensive experience in Public Health and Health
Systems strengthening in low resource settings and another a Zimbabwean Public Health Specialist with work experience in Zimbabwe, familiar with the Zimbabwean public and private health sector. The major aim of the program is to provide SDC with a sound and comprehensive basis for decision making regarding where and how to engage in the health sector by taking into considerations SDC’s comparative advantage.
Eligibility Criteria –
- The applying consultancy must be composed of two persons –
- An international team leader with extensive experience in Public Health and Health Systems strengthening in low resource settings. Experience of policy and technical dialogue with Governments as well as of work with different partners required. He/she should also be familiar with SRHR and HIV/AIDS issues and able to consider gender and governance in the health sector.
- A Zimbabwean Public Health Specialist with work experience in Zimbabwe, familiar with the Zimbabwean public and private health sector.
- The team leader must bear the capacity to take overall responsibility for the process and the report.
