The Landmark Development Initiative (LDI) Africa invites young business and development professionals from around the world to apply for The Emerging Institutions Fellowship Program (EIFP).
The Landmark Development Initiative (LDI) Africa builds the capacity of African corporations, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations to compete in the global marketplace through the service of skilled volunteers. It deploys the talents of young African Diaspora and professionals from all over the world to nonprofits and businesses that are struggling to attract skilled professionals.
Fellows will participate in a six to 12-month fellowship where they work to position African emerging businesses towards the path of long-term sustainability and scale. The driven fellows will be offered employment and seed funding opportunities in Africa by EIFP after successful completion of the fellowship. The fellows will hold paid positions along with housing and travel. The fellowship offers the recipients with exposure to emerging markets, training and professional development opportunities, potential consulting, employment and seed capital investment after fellowship. S/he will experience the growth of Africa’s most innovative businesses.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must hold at least an undergraduate degree, and cannot be more than 35 years of age.
- Applicants must be fluent in English language.
- Applicants must have two to ten years of professional experience. Professional background must be in business, management consulting, strategy, finance, and social enterprise and international development.
- MBA candidate or early to mid-level professional with interest in/familiarity with emerging markets are encouraged.
- Applicant must have interest in building a career in Africa after completion of the fellowship program.
