All interested candidates are invited to submit application for Arts Journalism Training offered by Bayimba Academy. The Bayimba Academy is the arts education pillar of Bayimba, offering a range of practical training for visual and performing artists throughout the year.
The major purpose of this training programme is to expand the thinking and practical skills and techniques of the arts journalist. The training will be conducted from 15th to 21st September 2014 at The HUB and the National Theatre.
Required attachments:
- A profile/short biography (max. 800 words) with recent picture(s), to be used for publicity
- A motivation for your participation in the training (max. 500 words)
- A sample of a publication/production about the arts
- Support letter from candidates current media house/university department
Eligibility criteria:
- Journalists, journalism interns, journalism students, bloggers from Uganda are eligible to apply.
