The Nigerian/Ghanian Students undertaking a full-time taught postgraduate program in either the Colleges of Arts and Social Sciences or the College of Life Sciences and Medicine at the University of Aberdeen are invited to apply for funding award of up to £2000 each.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must have applied to the University of Aberdeen and been offered a place starting in September 2014.
- Applicant must be the resident of Nigeria/Ghana.
- Applicants must be a privately funded student, and not in receipt of any financial assistance from the Nigerian/Ghanaian Government.
- Priority will be given to students who do not already have additional scholarship funding (student loans excluded).
- Applicants must have been firmly accepted either a conditional or unconditional offer for a place at the University at the time the selection committee meets.
- Applicants must hold the equivalent of a 1st class British Honors degree or better from a recognized Nigerian/Ghanaian university.
