The Leveraging Agriculture for Nutrition in South Asia (LANSA) invites high quality research concept notes on policy-relevant priorities under its Enabling Environments Research pillar. The primary objective of LASNA is to draw on the expertise and knowledge of national and regional stakeholders in the core challenge of improving the nutrition sensitivity of agri-food systems, policies, programs and interventions.
LANSA is a consortium of six organizations seeking to address the core question- “How can South Asian agriculture and related food policies and interventions be designed and implemented to increase their impacts on nutrition, especially the nutritional status of children and adolescent girls?

Around 3-4 studies will be funded under this particular call. The grant money provided will be in between £40-70,000 per study. Proposed research duration can be 6-24 months. Proposals are encouraged for multi-country/multi-site studies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should familiarize themselves with work in LANSA’s Enabling Environments for Nutrition research, pillar 1 to maximize ‘value added’ and complementarities with ongoing work, and avoid duplication.
- Concept notes must incorporate LANSA’s three cross-cutting issues as and where relevant.
- Joint applications by more than one organization are encouraged, but one organization must be specified as the lead applicant.
