International Students planning to study at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST) in doctorate, masters and undergraduate level programs are encouraged to apply for Scholarships. The International Students Scholarship program is a joint program of the Nanjing Municipal Government and Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
Scholarships
- Full Scholarship for Graduate – 20 for Doctoral Students (4 academic years), 60 for Master Students (2.5 academic years).
- Partial Scholarship for Graduate – 30 for Master Students (2.5 academic years).
- Scholarship for Undergraduate – 120 (4 academic years).
The Scholarship Covers
- Graduate Full-Scholarship – Tuition and fees, living allowance (CNY 2,000 per month for doctoral students & CNY1,700 per month for master’s degree student), intramural accommodation. Married students with family can receive CYN18,000 (doctoral students) and CYN9,000 (master’s students) for accommodation allowance if they have family membership certificate issued by China Embassy or General Consulate.
- Graduate Partial-Scholarship – Tuition and fees; and comprehensive medical insurance in China.
- Undergraduate Scholarship – tuition and fees; comprehensive medical insurance in China; and intramural accommodation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health.
- Applicants for doctoral degree program must have master degree when registered and be under the age of 40; for master degree program must have bachelor degree when registered and be under the age of 35; and for undergraduate programs must have senior high school diploma when registered and be under the age of 28.
- Applicants must have a competitive academic record.
Application must be submitted via online application system. Required documents must be submitted to the School of International Education, Nanjing University of Science & Technology via mail.
